This shall serve as notice to ChemStation customers and their employees (hereinafter “Customer”) that any and all training/education activities (hereinafter “Training”) conducted by ChemStation personnel for the benefit of Customer are merely supplemental in nature. This service is intended only to augment, and not to replace, a complete and comprehensive internal training program designed and implemented by the Customer. It is understood by Customer that the Training conducted by ChemStation is not intended to satisfy any federal, state, or local regulatory compliance requirements. It is rather offered solely to aid Customer in creating a safer workplace environment. Customers bear the full responsibility of training their employees and maintaining compliant status with all applicable laws and regulations. It is further understood that Training conducted by ChemStation personnel shall be limited in scope to basic safety and sanitation practices. This Training alone is insufficient to create a safe work environment. Creating such an environment can only be accomplished with proper continuous oversight from qualified managers under the employ of the Customer. Any and all Training material related to proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe chemical handling practices is general in nature and used for illustrative purposes only. This material is not intended to communicate the required PPE and/or chemical handling procedures for specific tasks within Customer’s facility. It is understood that each individual task within a facility poses unique risks to employees and that the responsibility for setting appropriate procedures for each is borne by Customer. There are inherent risks in working with hazardous materials, and Customer acknowledges that it is not possible to completely eliminate those risks. The intent of any ChemStation Training is simply to help reduce the overall exposure to such risks by way of supplementary education.
